Let’s taste famous French Beaujolais Nouveau!

Not to fail to our very French tradition, there will be a tasting of Beaujolais Nouveau , 2014. at Chez Clo’s, on Thursday, November 20. Officially you can not open a bottle of this young wine before the third Thursday of November, this year Thursday, the 20th. Once more I suggest you to taste it… It’s about time! Come and enjoy it with us! I will propose you a fine “Buffet” that will include some delicacies to accompany the tasting, all very French as our famous cheese and “charcuteries”. Beaujolais has to be drunk between 14 ° and 16 ° (temperature of cellar). As such we will taste it at home, by the fireplace.
NOTE: Beaujolais wine, 100% Gamay, is produced in the Southern end of Burgundy (around the town of Beaujeu) , and extends North to Lyon . The method of Beaujolais wine is to soak the whole bunches very few days over 30 % of the harvest finely chopped with yeast in order to saturate CO2 “tanks” . This explains the bright red dress and fruity aromas of this young wine .
Book your table in advance for me to be sure to have enough Beaujolais. Do not miss it!
